How does my garden grow?

Well we'll find out soon enough. Last Friday night I planted almost everything. All the little plants that we started in the house so long ago finally met their final resting place. Some of them deserve an RIP at this point. Many of them took to the ground just fine. Some of them have not enjoyed the really hot weather the past few days. Today I had to remove the peas, beans and a few of the puny looking tomato plants.

I have replanted peas and beans, bought a few hardy looking tomatoes and peppers. Everything else is coming up GREAT! Keep your fingers crossed.

34 week belly pic!

34 weeks...going on 35! (weird shadow makes my hair look big on top... but doesn't offset the belly growth...haha. Now we're getting antsy. I hit uncomfortable a few weeks ago...I can deal with that. Now we are just antsy to meet the little guy and introduce him to his family and friends. I think Andy & I are in fast forward mode all of a sudden, just wanting the time to fly by... Looking at pictures from last week it appears I may have dropped slightly...maybe?...maybe not? I guess I can sort of breath a little easier. I'm not waddling like many people say you do when this happens...I'm just slow...haha. I'm not nesting either. I've posted to Facebook to tell friends what I've been up to and they say I am, but really that's just me. I'm totally anal retentive and a perfectionist and have to have things in their place. Augie's Birth Story

So it's taken me a while to sit down and write about this. We've been adjusting to lots of new daily adventures. And every minute of it has been a blast. I can say I have no complaints! Life as new parents is great and I can only see it getting better. We're adjusting to our different sleep schedule which is really helping our mental health...haha. Andy heads back to work on Monday next week and I can say I really will miss all of the help that he has provided Augie and I over the past three weeks. He's an amazing husband and father. So here it goes- Sunday, the 15th, we slept in, ate left over pizza for lunch, celebrated birthdays at Andy's Grandma Jeanette's...I ate something like three different kinds of cake and ice cream (and I think I went back for a second round of sweets), hung out at my parents for a bit, then came home and ate macaroni and cheese, from a box.
