Goody Bag

I got home from work on Friday afternoon and much to my surprise had a goody bag of treats waiting for me from Andy. It was a nice surprise AND everything in the little bag looked spectacular. We had to try a bit of each little thing (of course)...


The Roland Feng Shui Maki Rolls are awesome. They have a weird texture and flavor that kind of grows on you. The Funky Monkey Bananamon chips are freeze dried bananas w/cinnamon....yummo! The Mezzetta olives...mmm. I just love olives. It doesn't matter what kind they are, but these have roasted garlic in them...delicious. They would make one hell of a dirty martini. I'll have to remember that one for post preggo-ness. One thing that didn't make the picture was a packet of Justin's Hazelnut Butter. It fell between the couch cushions when opening the bag. I have been eyeing this at the grocery store for a while. We had it on homemade pumpkin bread for desert..fabulous. And he even tossed in some glow in the dark silly putty...FUN! What a great hubby ;-)

38 Weeks (and counting) Belly pic

Now we're getting antsy. I hit uncomfortable a few weeks ago...I can deal with that. Now we are just antsy to meet the little guy and introduce him to his family and friends. I think Andy & I are in fast forward mode all of a sudden, just wanting the time to fly by... Looking at pictures from last week it appears I may have dropped slightly...maybe?...maybe not? I guess I can sort of breath a little easier. I'm not waddling like many people say you do when this happens...I'm just slow...haha. I'm not nesting either. I've posted to Facebook to tell friends what I've been up to and they say I am, but really that's just me. I'm totally anal retentive and a perfectionist and have to have things in their place. This is my norm. Not anything new.  38 weeks 37 weeks As the time draws near my patients at work continue to say things like, "You're still here?" and "Had that baby yet?" 4/17/11: Carlyle Pizza Scramble

A & I went to Carlyle Brewery last night for dinner before hitting Spring ArtScene 2011 . Dinner was great, as was ArtScene, where we ran into some old friends. We had some leftovers of our pepperoni, green & black olive and mushroom pizza and instead of hitting our usual Sunday morning breakfast spot, Mary's Market , we decided to re-create our amazing pizza scramble. Just added red peppers, green onion, a dash of zesty pepper jack cheese and eggs to the mix w/a side of avocado and toast w/honey.....mmmmm. Oh yeah and a bit of Carlyle Stout to round out the meal. What a great way to start a stay at home Sunday!
